'China Closely Communicating with N. Korea'
The Chinese government says it is closely communicating with North Korea and other related countries on the North's nuclear issue.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang explained on Monday during a regular briefing that Beijing and Pyongyang are maintaining a tradition of friendly exchanges between neighbors.
When asked about speculations that China's top nuclear envoy Wu Dawei will visit North Korea, the spokesman deflected any knowledge of such plans but said they are maintaining close contact with the North and other related countries.
