Trump to Make Phone Calls with Abe, Xi to Discuss N. Korea
U.S. President Donald Trump will make back-to-back phone calls with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday night U.S. time.
Reuters reported that the abruptly scheduled talks will include discussion on North Korea.
Analysts said Trump will try to reassure strong coordination with Tokyo and Beijing amid growing speculations that the regime will carry out its sixth nuclear test on the anniversary of the foundation of its military on Tuesday.
