USFK Commander Warns N. Korea against Possible Provocations

The commander of the U.S. Forces Korea(USFK) has warned North Korea against possible provocations the regime is feared to carry out on the April 25th founding anniversary of its People’s Army.
General Vincent Brooks delivered the warning in a ceremony marking the relocation of a statue of General Walton Walker from the current USFK base in Yongsan in central Seoul to Pyeongtaek in Gyeonggi Province on Tuesday.
Asked if he has a message for Pyongyang, Brooks said that he and his forces stand ready and that is the only message he has. He also stressed that the U.S. is committed to its alliance with South Korea, calling it the most important thing.
The USFK began the relocation of its key commanding organization from Yongsan to Pyeongtaek with the move of Walker's statue.
