S. Korea, US Hold Massive Joint Military Drill

South Korea and the United States have held a massive joint military drill to hone their combined capability to counter North Korean provocations.
South Korea’s Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that about two-thousand forces from the two allies participated in the Integrated Firepower Exercise 2017 at an Army training field in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province.
Both militaries mobilized about 250 up-to-date firepower assets for the drill, including some 20 combat helicopters, 30 fighter jets and armored vehicles.
