Tillerson: China Warned N. Korea of Unilateral Sanctions over Nuclear Test
U.S. State Secretary Rex Tillerson said that China has warned North Korea of unilateral sanctions should it move ahead with a nuclear test.
Tillerson made the comment on Fox News’ “Special Report with Bret Baier” on Thursday, noting that Washington was told by China that they informed the regime of the warning.
He did not say when the threat was made.
Tillerson said he will discuss additional measures the international community can take to increase pressure on the North Korean regime during a UN Security Council foreign ministers’ meeting he will chair on Friday.
