Trump: Would Meet Kim under Right Conditions
U.S. President Donald Trump said he is willing to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un “under the right circumstances.”
Trump made the remark in an interview with Bloomberg News at the Oval Office on Monday.
The U.S. president said if it would be appropriate for him to meet with Kim, he would be "honored to do it."
While labeling his comments as breaking news, he added most political people would never make such remarks as his.
Bloomberg noted that Trump’s comments came amid heightened tensions with the North over its nuclear weapons program and just a day after Trump said he would not rule out military action against Pyongyang.
