Pentagon: N. Korea ICBMs Have 'Important Shortfalls'

Senior U.S. military officials apparently believe North Korea still has a way to go before it can successfully target the U.S. mainland with missiles.
A Bloomberg news report quotes U.S. Navy Commander William Marks, a spokesman for the Defense Intelligence Agency(DIA), as saying the North's intercontinental ballistic missiles(ICBM) still have "important shortfalls."
Marks does add that Kim Jong-un’s regime “continues efforts to expand its stockpile of weapons-grade fissile materials,” and has accomplished "some key milestones in specific short-range systems."
However, he says “there is still a lot of development needed before any of North Korea's known missiles can reach U.S. territory.
