Envoys of S. Korea, US, Japan Condemn Launch

Top nuclear envoys of South Korea, the United States and Japan have strongly condemned North Korea's latest missile provocation.
A Foreign Ministry official said that South Korea's chief nuclear envoy Kim Hong-kyun held separate phone conversations with his U.S. and Japanese counterparts Joseph Yun and Kenji Kanasugi on Monday after the North fired off a ballistic missile Sunday afternoon.
The three envoys apparently shared information and discussed their joint response to the provocation.
The official said the three nuclear envoys strongly condemned the North Korean test which came only one week after its last ballistic missile launch on May 14th.
They also reportedly agreed to react to the latest provocation in a resolute manner following necessary steps including those at the United Nations Security Council.
