N. Korea Rejects S. Korean Civic Group's Visit

North Korea has reportedly rejected a visit by a South Korean civic group, taking issue with the Seoul government's attitude toward recent UN sanctions against Pyongyang.
Kang Young-sik, secretary-general of the Korean Sharing Movement, explained on Monday that the group planned to visit the North this week with anti-malaria supplies, but decided to postpone the trip due to the rejection.
The group earlier notified the North that it would head to Gaesong Wednesday or Thursday and deliver the aid.
The Unification Ministry in Seoul has so far approved 15 applications by individuals or groups seeking to contact North Korea.
