U.S. State Secretary Rex Tillerson has urged all countries with ties to North Korea to join efforts to pressure Pyongyang to the negotiating table for denuclearization.
 
Tillerson made the call on Tuesday during a joint news conference following his meeting with New Zealand Prime Minister Bill English, saying the U.S. urges countries with any ties to the reclusive regime to join the U.S. in pressing the North to make it rethink its nuclear program-centered strategies.
 
Tillerson said all the regional partners including China have reaffirmed their unconditional commitment to a denuclearized Korean Peninsula. 
 
He said now the question is how to work together to bring Pyongyang to the negotiation table and to have a discussion about a different future.
