US Missile Chief Concerned over N. Korea's Advance in Ballistic Missiles

The head of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency has expressed concern about the rapid advancement of North Korea’s ballistic missile development program.
Reuters reported that Vice Adm. James Syring made the remark during a U.S. House Armed Services Committee hearing on Wednesday, saying the North’s ballistic missile technological advances over the past six months have caused him “great concern.”
Syring said it should be assumed that the U.S. mainland is already within striking range of a nuke-tipped intercontinental ballistic missile from the North.
He said the U.S. is not comfortably ahead of the threat, but is addressing it.
