Six-Party Security Forum to Open in Singapore in July
Diplomats and scholars from countries involved in the long-stalled six-party nuclear talks will likely gather for a regional security forum next month in Singapore.
A diplomatic source said on Tuesday that the Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation(IGCC), affiliated with the University of California, recently notified the six countries of the 27th Northeast Asia Cooperation Dialogue(NEACD).
The NEACD has provided opportunity for informal dialogue between North Korea and its nuclear negotiating partners – South Korea, the United States, China, Japan and Russia.
