N. Korea: Nuke Issue is None of S. Korea’s Business

North Korea has rejected South Korea’s intervention in the process to settle the North’s nuclear issue, which it called a matter between Pyongyang and Washington.
In an editorial on Monday, the North’s propaganda Web site Uriminzokkiri urged the South to stay away from the North Korean nuclear problem, calling it a puppet of the U.S. It reiterated that the North's nuclear program is an issue subject to discussions between Pyongyang and Washington.
The Web site said that the new South Korean government is presenting glossy rhetoric of improving inter-Korean ties and promoting cross-border cooperation in the private sector. It, however, insisted that the South is attaching a condition of denuclearization on the North to its dialogue and cooperation proposals.
Uriminzokkiri called for a policy shift in Seoul, saying that South Korea’s wish to engage in settling the nuclear issue is an unattainable dream and a foolish act that shackles itself.
