President Moon Jae-in says he and President Trump will not not pursue a hostile policy against North Korea.

Speaking at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington Friday evening, Moon said the allies do not want to attack North Korea or induce a regime collapse.

While noting that Seoul and Washington will not seek to accelerate the unification of the two Koreas against Pyongyang's own intentions, Moon also argued that denuclearization is the only way for the regime to ensure its safety and economic development. 

He said the door to dialogue is wide open, urging Pyongyang to make the right decision at an important crossroads and seize the opportunity toward peace and prosperity.
