JCS: N. Korea Fires Ballistic Missile into East Sea

The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said Tuesday that North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile into the East Sea.
It was fired from a location near Banghyeon, North Pyongan Province at 9.40 a.m.
South Korean and U.S. military authorities are analyzing the trajectory of the missile that flew more than 930 kilometers and are said to have concluded the launch was a success.
President Moon Jae-in has been immediately reported to about the launch. He has summoned the National Security Council.
Japanese public broadcaster NHK said that the projectile could have dropped in the island nation's exclusive economic zone.
