Nuclear Envoys of S. Korea, US, Japan to Meet in Singapore

Chief nuclear envoys of South Korea, the U.S. and Japan plan to meet on the sidelines of next week's 27th Northeast Asia Cooperation Dialogue next week in Singapore.
A South Korean Foreign Ministry official says chief nuclear envoy Kim Hong-kyun will discuss the North Korean nuclear issue with his U.S. and Japanese counterparts Joseph Yun and Kenji Kanasugi.
They're expected to seek specific joint responses to the North's recent launch of an apparent intercontinental ballistic missile.
The Singapore regional forum was started by the Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation(IGCC) at UC San Diego and has at times provided a dialogue platform for North Korea and its regional nuclear negotiating partners.
