IOC Promises Best Efforts to Help N. Korea Participate in PyeongChang Games

The International Olympic Committee(IOC) has reiterated its promise to do its best to help North Korean athletes participate in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Speaking to reporters following the IOC Executive Board meeting in Switzerland on Monday, spokesman Mark Adams said that North Korea’s participation in the PyeongChang Games is important both to the committee and the Olympics.
The spokesman added that the IOC is identifying potential athletes to take part and it will do its best to make sure there is a participation of athletes from North Korea.
The IOC will have to use its wild cards in order to have North Korean athletes compete in the games, as the North failed to qualify for any places.
