NIS: N. Korean Nuke Test at Punggye-ri Doesn't Appear to be Imminent

The National Intelligence Service(NIS) says North Korea is capable of conducting a nuclear test at its Punggye-ri test site but a sixth experiment is not imminent.
Main opposition Liberty Korea Party Rep. Yi Wan-young on Tuesday delivered the intelligence agency's assessment after a parliamentary intelligence committee session.
The intelligence agency also said that the U.S. will likely mull independent sanctions against Pyongyang, and China and Russia will voice for dialogue while implementing UN Security Council sanctions against the regime.
The NIS said that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was present at the missile launch site in North Pyongan Province last Tuesday when the North fired a ballistic missile. The agency cited that it was Kim’s first public appearance in 14 days.
