Deputy PM: Hamburg G20 Helps S. Korea Withstand N. Korea Factor

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon says South Korea's stock market will probably withstand the geopolitical concerns surrounding North Korea.
Kim met with economy-related ministers and other key officials Wednesday to discuss follow-up measures to the G20 summit.
Kim noted that the South Korean financial market quickly stabilized following North Korea's recent missile launch, and said President Moon Jae-in's discussions with fellow leaders at the recent summit will enhance stability even further.
He also noted that pan-governmental risk management is necessary to deal with the U.S. rate hike and trade protectionist trends.
