S. Korea Adopts Resolution Condemning N. Korea's ICBM Launch
South Korea's National Assembly has adopted a resolution denouncing North Korea over its recent intercontinental ballistic missile test-launch.
Out of 218 participating lawmakers, 216 voted to back the measure on Tuesday. Two abstained.
The resolution strongly urges the North to immediately suspend any activities causing military tension on the Korean Peninsula, including nuclear weapons development and missile launches.
It also calls on the South Korean government to accelerate completion of its Kill-Chain preemptive strike system, and to implement strong measures to deter the North from further provocations.
