N. Korea Remains Silent on Proposal for Inter-Korean Talks

North Korea continues to remain silent on South Korea’s proposals for talks.
A government official said that the North has not given any response to South Korea's proposal for talks between military officials as of Wednesday morning.
Foreign media has been reporting that signs of a potential missile launch on Thursday have been detected in the North.
A Defense Ministry official said that the authorities are not revoking the proposal and will patiently wait for a response.
Last week, South Korea proposed inter-Korean military talks to discuss reducing hostilities along the inter-Korean border starting from July 27th, the 64th anniversary of the signing of the Korean War armistice.
