N. Korean Wooden Land Mine Found in Incheon
A North Korean wooden land mine has been found in Incheon.
A Seoul’s military official said on Friday that a Marine unit found the wooden-box land mine during a land mine surveying mission on Acha Island of Ganghwa County off the west coast at around noon on Thursday.
The official said the land mine contained detonator and explosives when found, adding it was taken away by a bomb disposal unit.
The official urged residents in the South Korean region to immediately report to the military or the police, without touching, if they find more wooden mines.
