Kim Jong-un Claims Whole US Now under N. Korea's Striking Range
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un says his country’s latest successful intercontinental ballistic missile(ICBM) test proves the entire U.S. mainland is now within striking range.
The North’s official Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) reports Kim personally guided Friday's launch of a Hwasong-14 missile, which flew 998 kilometers for 47 minutes and 12 seconds at a maximum altitude of three-thousand-724-point-nine kilometers.
The KCNA report quotes Kim as saying the launch demonstrated the North’s ability to launch missiles in a surprise manner at any place and time.
