Foreign Ministers of S. Korea, US Discuss N. Korea's ICBM Launch by Phone
The foreign ministers of South Korea and the U.S. have held emergency telephone talks to discuss responses to North Korea’s latest intercontinental ballistic missile(ICBM) launch.
A Seoul Foreign Ministry official says Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson discussed pushing for strong sanctions at the United Nations Security Council(UNSC) as well as unilateral sanction measures by individual countries.
It is their second telephone conversation in two days.
The two are planning a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum(ARF) set for August seventh in Manila.
