Tokyo: It's Time to Pressure N. Korea, not Engage It

Tokyo has reiterated its stance that it is time to put pressure on North Korea.
In a regular media briefing on Wednesday, Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga expressed regret about the North’s latest ballistic missile test, noting it is the time to strengthen pressure on the regime.
He emphasized that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and U.S. President Donald Trump had reached the same consensus during their telephone talks on Monday.
The remarks follow U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s comments on Tuesday that the U.S. government would like to engage in dialogue with Pyongyang at some point.
