China Vows to Strictly Implement U.N. Resolutions on N. Korea

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has told British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson Beijing will fully and strictly implement U.N. Security Council resolutions on North Korea.
The two exchanged views on the North Korea nuclear issue over the phone Friday at the British foreign secretary's request.
Wang says China has made great efforts to safeguard the international nuclear nonproliferation regime while urging all relevant parties to fulfill their responsibilities.
He urged related countries to accept China's proposal for North Korea to stop nuclear and missile provocations in exchange for a halt to joint military exercises by South Korea and the United States, calling it a way to achieve a breakthrough to dialogue.
