McMaster: US Prepares for Preventive War against N. Korea

U.S. President Donald Trump's security adviser says that the U.S. is preparing for a "preventive war" with North Korea.
In an interview with MSNBC on Saturday, White House National Security Adviser Herbert McMaster stressed that Trump has already made it clear that the North Korean threat against his country will not be tolerated.

"What you're asking is are we preparing plans for a preventive war, right?"
"If they have nuclear weapons that can threaten the United States. It's intolerable from the president's perspective. So of course, we have to provide all options to do that. And that includes a military option."
The remarks came amid increasing discussions about Trump's willingness to go to war with North Korea by key U.S. politicians, including U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley.

("Is preemptive military action on the table right now?")
"That is all up to North Korea. At this point, they have some serious decisions to make."
Earlier last week, U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham said that military options are inevitable if North Korea continues.
