Trump's Chief Strategist: There Is No Military Option on N. Korea

U.S. President Donald Trump’s chief strategist says there is no military solution to North Korea’s nuclear threats.
White House chief strategist Steve Bannon made the remark in an interview with The American Prospect on Wednesday.
Bannon cited the potentially enormous loss of human lives as a result of a war on the Korean Peninsula as the reason for his opposition to using military force against the North.
He said "Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don't die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don't know what you're talking about, there's no military solution here, they got us.”
The Washington Examiner said that Bannon’s remark was an indirect criticism of Trump over his recent strong rhetoric against the North that heightened tensions with the regime.
Bannon was reported to have advised Trump to solve the North Korean nuclear issue diplomatically through China.
