North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has reappeared before the public after eight days and ordered more production of solid-fuel rocket engines and warhead tips for intercontinental ballistic missiles(ICBM).

The state-run Korean Central News Agency reported Wednesday that Kim gave the order when visiting the Chemical Material Institute of the Academy of Defense Science.

Kim instructed the institute to produce more solid-fuel rocket engines and rocket warhead tips, urging a modernization of the institute by expanding its production capacity.

Although appearing to be making developments in their missile program, many experts say North Korea has yet to secure technology for atmospheric re-entry of the missiles which is a key element in developing an ICBM.
