Former UN Chief Ban Says N.Korea's Nuclear Program At Tipping Point
Former United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon has said North Korea's nuclear program is at a tipping point, calling on the international community to maintain sanctions pressure to halt its provocations and to find ways to denuclearlize the recalcitrant regime.
Ban made the remark on Friday in a keynote speech during a conference in Seoul hosted by the Asian Society of International Law.
Ban also said that the divided Korean Peninsula is the last vestige of the Cold War, emphasizing that building peace in the region is important for both regional and international security.
