NSC Meeting Under Way at Presidential Office

A National Security Council(NSC) session is being held at the South Korean presidential office to discuss response measures to North Korea's latest ballistic missile launch Tuesday morning.
Following the launch at 5:57 a.m., the South Korean presidential office schedule the NSC meeting for 7:00 a.m.
An official said that President Moon Jae-in will also attend the NSC session.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff(JCS) said that the North Korean missile flew about two-thousand 700 kilometers after it was fired from a location near the North Korean capital of Pyongyang.
The Japanese government said that the projectile flew over Hokkaido before landing in the sea.
