The Agency for Defense Development(ADD) said Tuesday that it carried out the last flight test for the deployment of a 500-kilometer-range ballistic missile and an 800-kilometer-range ballistic missile equipped with improved warhead capacity. The agency revealed to the media a video of the flight test which took place last Thursday.
 
The agency said that in the face of North Korea’s threats, South Korea’s military is pushing forward the establishment of the Kill Chain system, the Korea Massive Punishment and Retaliation(KMPR) system and the Korean Air and Missile Defense(KAMD) system.
 
To realize the three systems, the military has been developing new types of ballistic missiles that have longer ranges and higher levels of precision.
 
The agency said that the missiles that were tested last week are new, customized ballistic missiles that can destroy key nuclear facilities in any part of the North. 
 
The agency also said that the South Korean military will significantly expand missile units and capabilities.
