"N. Korea Likely to Continue Missile Provocations"

Seoul's National Intelligence Service told lawmakers Tuesday the latest North Korean missile launch over Japan is seen to be a demonstration of Pyongyang's will to follow up on previous threats, and a show of defiance during ongoing South Korea-U.S. joint military exercises.
Representative Yi Wan-young of the major opposition Liberty Korea Party(LKP) says intelligence officials briefed lawmakers that North Korean missile tests are likely to continue until the regime completes the technological credibility of its intercontinental ballistic missile and the submarine-launched ballistic missile.
The NIS pointed out the latest North Korean missile was fired from Sunan International Airport in Pyongyang, and noted it is the first time the North launched a missile from an airport.
The missile is believed to have been intermediate-range, flying over Hokkaido, Japan and reaching high seas in the North Pacific Ocean.
