Trump Warns 'All Options are on the Table'

Anchor: U.S. President Donald Trump has warned North Korea that "all options are on the table" in response to its latest missile provocation. U.S. experts assessed that Tuesday's missile launch was one of the most provocative.
Our Kim In-kyung has this report.

Report: In a statement released on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump said that the world has received North Korea’s latest message loud and clear and the North Korean regime has signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior.

He also warned that "threatening and destabilizing actions" only deepen the North Korean regime's isolation in the world, saying that “all options are on the table.”

The Pentagon determined that the North Korean projectile was an intermediate range ballistic missile. It said in a statement that an initial assessment indicates the launch of an intermediate range ballistic missile which flew over northern Japan and landed in the Pacific Ocean 926 kilometers from the country's eastern coast.

Christopher R. Hill, a former U.S. ambassador to Seoul and a former U.S. negotiator with North Korea, called it the "most serious missile launch yet" on Twitter.

Former White House national security aide Sebastian Gorka told Fox News on Tuesday that the North’s latest missile launch was the “most provocative” intended to send a message to the U.S. and intimidate Japan.

Calls for dialogue are expected to recede for the time being and strong responses emerge again in the U.S.
