China Criticizes N. Korea over Tuesday's Missile Launch

Beijing has criticized Pyongyang over its latest missile launch.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Wednesday, during a briefing ahead of the ninth BRICS Summit in Beijing, that North Korea's provocation was a violation of the U.N. Security Council(UNSC) resolutions and undermines the global nonproliferation regime.
Asked whether China plans to suspend its crude oil supply to the North in response, Wang said it is working with other members of the Security Council and will make a “necessary response” based on the consensus of the UNSC members.
The minister said China will completely implement UNSC resolutions on the North and do its international responsibility.
However, he emphasized that efforts for dialogue with the North are also important.
