White House: US Still Open to Dialogue with N. Korea

The White House has hinted that the U.S. remains open to talks with North Korea, saying that dialogue is still among various options in dealing with the North.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said during a regular news briefing on Thursday that the U.S. is keeping all options on the table, including diplomatic, economic and military.

"Absolutely -- 'all' includes all. So I think that would certainly include diplomatic, economic, and military options."
After Pyongyang’s missile launch over Japan on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump warned the North that “all options are on the table” in a White House statement. He then beefed up pressure the next day, writing on his Twitter that “talking is not the answer” for North Korea.
