Abe: N. Korean Nuke Test Absolutely Unacceptable

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has strongly protested North Korea’s possible nuclear test, saying that a sixth nuclear test by Pyongyang would be "absolutely unacceptable."
Abe made the remarks on Sunday afternoon after an artificial earthquake detected in North Korea indicated a fresh nuclear test by the North.
The prime minister swiftly called a National Security Council meeting Sunday afternoon and discussed responses to the North’s latest provocation.
After receiving a related briefing from Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga, Abe instructed the government to gather data on the test and swiftly release the gathered information to the people.
He also ordered the government to respond to the provocation in close cooperation with South Korea, the U.S., China and Russia.
