US Treasury Secretary Wants More Sanctions on N. Korea

The U.S. Treasury Secretary has called for an additional round of sanctions on North Korea following their nuclear test on Sunday.

In an interview with "Fox News Sunday" Steve Mnuchin called the North’s test of a hydrogen bomb "completely unacceptable behavior," adding that he will draft a sanctions package to send to the president for his strong consideration.

"We are going to strongly consider everything at this point. And, again, I will draft a package for his strong consideration that would go as far as cutting off all trade or other business. And this behavior is unacceptable and if countries want to do business with the United Stated, they will obviously be working with our allies and others to cut of North Korea economically"

Mnuchin said that people need to cut off North Korea economically and did not rule out the possibility of implementing stronger regulations on Chinese companies and financial institutions doing business with the North.
