Following the North’s launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile Friday morning, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has urged Beijing and Moscow to take "direct action" in response to the provocation.
 
Tillerson said in a statement that China and Russia must "indicate their intolerance" for the North's "reckless missile launches."
 
He emphasized the two countries' economic ties to the North, remarking that China supplies the regime with most of its oil while Russia is the largest employer of North Korean forced labor.
 
Hours before the launch, Tillerson had called on Beijing to utilize its oil exports as a means of pressuring the regime to shut down its nuclear program.
