China Criticizes N. Korea's Latest Ballistic Missile Provocation
China has criticized North Korea's latest ballistic missile launch, which came days after the UN imposed tougher sanctions on the regime.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in a regular media briefing on Friday that Beijing is opposed to Pyongyang's use of ballistic missiles in violation of UN Security Council(UNSC) resolutions.
Hua pointed out the present state of affairs on the Korean Peninsula is complex and sensitive, and urged relevant parties to remain calm and exercise restraint.
She added China will faithfully implement UNSC resolutions.
