Seoul Will Not Discuss N. Korea Membership Issue at UN General Assembly
South Korea doesn't plan to prompt a discussion over North Korea's qualification as a UN member state.
According to various government sources, the South Korean delegation will not raise the issue of North Korea's UN membership during the 72nd UN General Assembly which is currently under way in New York, as it did last year.
Instead it will emphasize the need for strict adherence to UN Security Council resolutions against Pyongyang.
