Moon Stresses Peaceful Resolution of N. Korea Nuclear Issue

On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, President Moon Jae-in met with world leaders and stressed for a peaceful resolution of the North Korean nuclear issue.
In an official luncheon hosted by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, he explained the grave nature of the nuclear issue and said that the international community needs to resolve the matter peacefully and fundamentally through consistent efforts.
President Moon sat at the head table with U.S. President Donald Trump, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other leaders from countries including Jordan, Liberia and Turkey and discussed major pending issues while promoting friendship with one another.
He also took the opportunity to speak about the PyeongChang Winter Olympics next year and called for the leaders' interest and support.
