N. Korea Denounces Chinese Media for Criticizing Nuke Issue

North Korea has strongly denounced Chinese media for their critical reporting about the North.
The North’s key media, including the Korean Central News Agency(KCNA), said Friday that some Chinese media are harshly criticizing the North at a time when the U.S. has raised issue with Pyongyang exercising its rightful sovereignty.
In an article titled “The Media’s Impudent Conduct that Knows No Shame,” the official newspaper of the North’s ruling party, the Rodong Sinmun, went over critical remarks made about the North’s nuclear issue by China’s People’s Daily, Global Times and People’s Daily Online.
The Rodong Sinmun said that looking at how these media publicly criticize another sovereign country’s course, it is no surprise they have lost the credibility of the Chinese people and of the international community.
The article also raised issue with a Chinese media story saying that the North is lucky to have China as its neighbor. The North Korean article claimed that during the 1960s when China faced harsh denunciation from the international community for conducting its first nuclear test, only the North had supported it, being the good neighbor.
