High-Ranking N. Korean Diplomat Arrives in Russia for Talks
A senior North Korean diplomat handling Pyongyang’s relations with Washington is visiting Russia.
Japanese public broadcaster NHK reported that Choe Son-hui, director-general of the North Korean Foreign Ministry's North America bureau, arrived Monday at Vladivostok International Airport via a flight from Pyongyang.
Diplomatic sources were quoted as saying Choe would arrive in Moscow Monday afternoon.
She will reportedly meet with high-ranking Russian officials, including ambassador-at-large Oleg Burmistrov, and exchanging opinions regarding North Korea's situation.
