Police say North Korea hacked ten South Korean Web sites in an attempt to steal bitcoin during July and August this year.
 
The Korean National Police Agency said on Wednesday that cyber crime investigators found that North Korean hackers had sent malicious codes to 25 email addresses across four South Korean organizations.
 
After infecting the computer of an employee at a bitcoin-trading company, the hackers are believed to have used the internal network to steal cryptocurrency. 
 
The IP addresses were traced to North Korea. The same IP addresses were used when the South's Water Resources Corporation was hacked in 2014 and the Presidential Office in 2016.
