Defectors Group Sends Leaflets into N. Korea
A group of North Korean defectors launched about 300-thousand propaganda leaflets attached to ten giant balloons over the border to North Korea Tuesday morning.
Group leader Park Sang-hak said he hopes the leaflets, which condemn North Korean nuclear and missile provocations, will serve as an alarm bell about the Kim Jong-un regime's threat to peace.
The group, called Fighters for a Free North Korea, launched the balloons from Munsoo Mountain in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province at about six in the morning.
In addition to the leaflets, the balloons also carried two thousand one-dollar U.S. bills.
