65% of Americans Worried Trump's Rhetoric is Deteriorating US-N. Korea Tension

A recent U.S. survey shows that two in three Americans are worried that relations with North Korea are worsening, due to President Donald Trump's fiery rhetoric toward the regime.

The survey conducted by Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that less than one in ten believed Trump's words were helping the situation.

Also, 63 percent of the respondents said they did not support Trump's method of dealing with the North, in contrast to the 36 percent that backed the president's approach.

Sixty-seven percent percent expressed strong concern about North Korea's nuclear weapons development, with seven in ten feeling threatened by the capability of the arsenal to target Guam, other parts of the U.S. as well as South Korea, Japan and other allied nations.

One-thousand-150 adults took part in the survey between September 28th and October second. The margin of error is plus or minus four-point-one percentage points.
