Report: N. Korea is Among 7 Major Cyberpowers

A United States online media says that North Korea is one of seven major "cyberpowers" with the ability to attack the information systems of other countries.
Vox.com said on Friday that North Korea is among the major cyberpowers, which include the United States, Russia, China, Britain, Iran and France.
The media noted that North Korea developed impressive cyber capabilities, although it has the smallest economy of all the cyberpowers.
It presented two reasons: first, the North has a "command economy," in which the central government basically controls every aspect of the economy and the regime can direct as many resources as it wants to military programs such as the nuclear project and cyber program.
Second, the North's cyber division actually makes a lot of money on its own, thanks to the country’s willingness to have its military programmers engage in straight-up crime.
