New S. Korean Contingency Plan Targets N. Korea's Nuke, Missile Facilities First

The South Korean military is working on a new wartime operational plan under which it will first destroy North Korea’s nuclear and missile facilities and long-range artillery bases with ballistic missiles should a full-scale war break out on the Korean Peninsula.
The Army disclosed the plan during a parliamentary inspection on Thursday.
The Army also revealed for the first time a plan to develop five “game-changer” combat assets to assist the country’s main defense systems, including the Kill Chain preemptive strike system and the Korea Massive Punishment and Retaliation(KMPR) plan.
The five game-changers are three all-weather, super-precision high-power ballistic missiles, an air-ground task force, a special mission brigade, an unmanned combat force system consisting of drones and robots and a fully integrated individual combat system.
