S. Korea and U.S. Nuclear Envoys Discuss Cooperation on N. Korea
The U.S.’ top nuclear envoy says Washington places top priority on maintaining coordination with South Korea over responses to North Korea's nuclear issue.
Joseph Yun made the comment at the beginning of a meeting with his South Korean counterpart Lee Do-hoon in Seoul on Friday.
Lee said he believes the three-way collaboration is getting increasingly more solid.
Yun is in Seoul for a string of meetings on North Korea's nuclear issue including a trilateral get-together with top nuclear envoys of Seoul, Washington and Japan.
The meeting comes just weeks ahead of U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to South Korea.
